Cory
-
Daycare Attendant &
Musician

I
am a Sacramento native with a passion for music. I began
working with dogs a few years back and immediately became fascinated by the dogs surrounding me!
This newfound love caused me to
work hard to understand their different personalities
and interactions. I am a certified pet technician with ABKA
and working towards additional certifications. I absolutely love working with animals and
hope to continue my education in Animal Science. I am not
sure where I'll end up in the animal field, but I do know that
I feel at home at Cha Cha's and I am certain your dogs will
feel the same!
Somebody pinch me....I must be dreaming!
Lai - Daycare
Attendant
A
small package chucked full of energy is a great description
of Lai. She loves dogs and shows it by showering them
with affection, she is rewarded with tons of doggie licks
and kisses. Her weekends are filled with doggie birthday
parties, slumber parties and she can often be found curled
up with a few of our 4-legged clients when they are present
for a sleepover. A happy spirit and positive energy
are a few of her many qualities! The dogs know a good
person when they see one, which is why they all clamor for
her attention!
Kelly - Daycare
Attendant
Kelly is a local student
majoring in child development. She is blessed with
infinite patience, energy and a heartfelt interest in
providing a nurturing environment. Raised with 3 dogs
of her own, she is prepared for a fur flying good time as
part of the Cha Cha's team.
Desalene
- Owner
What
kind of person would open a daycare for dogs??? Desalene is
a Chicago native that ran west for warm weather, ocean breezes
and open minds. However San Diego wasn't affordable so she
opened her mind to Sacramento's scorching summers, wind gusts
off the river and days full of wet noses. The child of two
dog enthusiasts, she was destined to be "in the business".
After spending many years in dog rescue, grooming, training
and pet sitting she finally found her hearts home with the
daycare. "Having the ability to provide a safe environment
for dogs to run free and speak their own language not only
keeps me content but teaches me a lot about myself and others.
Dogs have a natural honesty, loyalty and unconditional love
that is refreshing to see in today’s world" says Desalene.
She is committed to enhancing the relationship between dogs
and their owners. She also has a heart for teenagers and works
closely with the Sacramento City Unified School district as
a mentor and has recently begun a relationship with PRIDE
industries to help provide employment opportunities for our
disabled population. Your pooch is in great hands with this
big-hearted woman.
