Desalene - Director

What kind of person would open a daycare for dogs??? Desalene is a Chicago native that ran west for warm weather, ocean breezes and open minds. However San Diego wasn't affordable so she opened her mind to Sacramento's scorching summers, wind gusts off the river and days full of wet noses. The child of two dog enthusiasts, she was destined to be "in the business". After spending many years in dog rescue, grooming, training and pet sitting she finally found her hearts home with the daycare. "Having the ability to provide a safe environment for dogs to run free and speak their own language not only keeps me content but teaches me a lot about myself and others.
Dogs have a natural honesty, loyalty and unconditional love that is refreshing to see in today’s world" says Desalene. She is committed to enhancing the relationship between dogs and their owners. She also has a heart for teenagers and works closely with the Sacramento City Unified School district as a mentor and has recently begun a relationship with PRIDE industries to help provide employment opportunities for our disabled population. Your pooch is in great hands with this big-hearted woman.

Tempest - Daycare Attendant
This “lean, mean 3-point machine” led her team in points, rebounds and assists and has brought that team spirit to Cha Cha’s. A native to the San Francisco Bay area, she has now converged on Sacramento seeking to pursue a PR degree, master American Sign Language and volunteer in youth basketball camps. Her passion for dogs is innate and unmistakably impressive. Prior to joining our team she was heavily scrutinized by Tyrone, a resident pug, and received his highest approval rating. Additionally her chocolate lab Lexi Joe, gave her a barking good referral! Her natural leadership skills, compassion, and willingness to learn are what make her a great addition to the Cha Cha’s Family.
Cory - Daycare Attendant & Musician

I am a Sacramento native with a passion for music. I began working with dogs a few years back and immediately became fascinated by the dogs surrounding me! This newfound love caused me to work hard to understand their different personalities and interactions. I am a certified pet technician with ABKA and working towards additional certifications. I absolutely love working with animals and hope to continue my education in Animal Science. I am not sure where I'll end up in the animal field, but I do know that I feel at home at Cha Cha's and I am certain your dogs will feel the same!
Somebody pinch me....I must be dreaming!

Cassandra - Canine Physical Activities Partner
When work is play you know you've got it made! Cassandra knows how to get the job done regardless of the number of wet noses in her path. Always smiling and courteous she is a staff favorite with the ability to take anything the dogs throw at her...at times a daunting task!
Raquel - Canine Physical Activities Partner
Born with the talent of "tinkering" and a love of dogs! No two gifts were better matched, the dogs keep Raquel on her toes all day and if there is ever a lull they have left something that needs "fixin" in the wings.
Dulce - Canine Physical Activities Partner
Long walks in the park, belly rubs and a dip in the pool are a few of the chores assigned to Dulce each day! Keeping the dogs active mentally and physically is a tall order, but perfectly suited for this lovely lady. Oh to live a dogs life.
